Our neighborhood had a party at the pool with a DJ and burgers and a giant inflatable waterslide.
We also went to a great family cookout with Margot's friend William.
It was my idea of the perfect 4th of July. Mom and Dad and David and I sat around chatting while Margot ran in huge circles with her friend William.
William's dad is a fantastic cook. He smoked brisket and pig and chickens and salmon. All of it so yummy. Lots of great food, potluck style. I am so lucky. To live in this great country. To have this wonderful daughter. To have great friends and family. The day ended with a fantastic fireworks show just for us. WOW.

What a great time we had at the 4th of July party. Just sitting and talking and enjoying one another was real happiness. We look forward to moving to Nashville to be close to Beth, Margot and David. Looking forward to July 19 when we all get together again this time we will be complete with Jennifer and Dean. More being just family. Dad AKA YaYa
