We are visiting Jen and Dean, Margot's Ji ji and D-O, in Jacksonville. We had lunch at the club with Dean's brother and his wife and their kids. Thea and Zoe are Margot's cousins. She is so grateful for them. She is always asking for siblings of one sort or another. Maybe she remembers Zhuzhou and wants to be around a lot of kids. Once she told a lady that she wasn't spoiled because she did not get everything that she wanted because she wanted two brothers, a sister, a daddy and a minivan and that her mom wouldn't get her any of that! Anyway, that is why Margot is so grateful for cousins. It is sort of like trying out siblings. She also loves that they fight over who gets to play with her!
Jen made a fabulous dinner with a turkey and dressing. We let Margot go play with her cousins while we cooked. That was a prize-winning idea!
