Margot and I go to Parent Child Chinese classes. Last year, she refused to participate very much at all. The fall classes were all about trying to get me to leave. During the spring classes, she played with Brooke (who is her age and came home from China at the same time we did) instead of participating. Finally, this year, she is excited. She has been singing hello/how are you and Thank you/you're welcome in Chinese constantly. When I told her that we were going to Chinese class the next morning, she asked if she could wear her Chinese clothes. I think that Margot is going to be very proud of her Chinese heritage.
Here is a picture of Margot with our friend Elizabeth making moon cakes out of canned biscuits and peanut butter and jelly.
